The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Instrument Engineer with a proven track record in understanding of the complexities involved in large-scale Gas Processing projects to meet objectives for a high-profile client.

The key objectives for this role are:

  • Developing and integrating instrumentation and control systems to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Leading engineering projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and technical specifications.
  • Ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues in control systems to minimize downtime.
  • Identifying opportunities for process optimization and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Expected:

  • Bachelor s degree in Instrumentation engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of ten (10+) years of relevant experience in the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas industry, including minimum (5) years (preferred) in GCC region.
  • Must have at least Ten (10) years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
  • Experience in Instrumentation Designing.
  • Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
  • Experience of working in a multi - project / multi - disciplined environment and throughout all engineering and design phases of projects
  • Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Undertake I & C design work of units as required, supervise and check works of assigned engineers on the project as appropriate
  • Execute Instrumentation engineering activities within the budget and schedule, as well as maintaining technical integrity of the design
  • Ensure that detail design methods, standards and data used conform with Client's requirements and / or those issued
