Supervise all Section Technical Instructors Level 3/2 to ensure compliance with NQC/OPITO standards and curriculum, within the technical program of the ATA (ADNOC Technical Academy). Ensure that all training adheres to these standards and meets deadlines for completion. In addition, Act as AAA (Asset Approval Authority) for EWMS (Electronic Work Management System) ensuring 100% asset integrity within the technical section. Conduct training sessions as required, both internally and externally.
Responsible for maintaining the safety of the units/workshops and ensure maintenance plan is strictly followed.
Capable of planning and proposing proper programs and training windows for commercial opportunities

Carry out Classroom/Workshop Observations on all delegated Instructors
Provide Data on Technical Instructors to Head of Technical Section for yearly review (as required)
Carry out & deliver Classroom/workshop sessions when required.
Participate in the development and update of the instructional programs and prepare related subject materials for use in classrooms and workshops.
Implement annual training plan for the SEM programs, ensuring alignment to ATA requirements and training & development strategy while ensuring effective implementation of approved plans within set timelines to facilitate achievement of desired expectations.
Review technical courses with respect to their content and instructional materials; recommend improvements and updates in accordance with the evolving knowledge base required by the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.
Ensure all instructional units meet the requirements of the ADNOC/NQC/OPITO standards.
Mentorship: Mentor and support instructors, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall quality of the training team
Customization: Tailor training materials and delivery methods to suit the specific needs and backgrounds of different audiences (contractor academy)
Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to ensure training materials are accurate, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek feedback from participants and stakeholders to improve training programs and instructional techniques.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address technical issues relating to process plants and maintenance scheduling.
Track, Delegate, participate in the maintenance of all related tools, materials and equipment, including test equipment calibration.
Ensure that courses are conducted according to the technical requirements and safety precautions in force.
Monitor, track and report on the maintenance of workshops and training plants including critical equipment calibration
Maintain and check the functionality of tools and machinery and recommend the purchase of spare parts, including requesting new items to ensure their proper serviceability and safety.
Review with the Section Head any new materials prior to their use.
Identify training equipment/materials required.
Identify trainees' weaknesses and address such issues with the trainees concerned, and/or refer to the Student Counsellor or Section Head for appropriate action.
Monitor trainees' discipline according to established policies and guidelines. Monitor trainees' individual records and record daily attendance.
Using ATAs Student information System (SIS) and Learning Management System (LMS) electronically.
Participate in externally and internally provided professional development courses as required.
Perform other related duties such as participating in weekly/monthly technical planning meetings regarding related matters.
Perform other related duties at ADNOC sites as required.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in engineering qualification with the relevant theoretical knowledge in the disciplines (Operations / Maintenance).
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
Minimum of 8 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry in a technical position with at least 5 years' experience in a supervisory capacity within a large industrial organization, preferably in the oil & gas industry
Experience in Technical classroom, workshop/OJT training.
SQA/OPITO Assessor Qualification
Supervisory Experience
5 years of experience in training and assessing to a Level 3 training standard, hands on experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry, including at least 5 years teaching experience or technical training experience in a vocational training context.
Computer knowledge
Communication skills in English.
