Job summary

Mintlayer is seeking a senior Business Development professional to build and manage institutional partnerships across GCC, Europe, and Asia. You will drive outreach to family offices, sovereign wealth, asset managers, and BTC treasury holders, and own the full BD cycle from first contact to signed agreement.

You bring 6+ years in institutional BD within financial services, crypto, or asset management, plus an existing warm network in GCC or Europe.

Qualifications

• 6+ years institutional BD in financial services, asset management, or crypto.
• Existing warm network with GCC or European institutional allocators.
• Track record closing mandates or partnerships above $5M in value.
• Fluent in Bitcoin and DeFi — can hold a technical conversation with a CIO.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the institutional partnership and capital pipeline across GCC, Europe, and Asia.
• Drive outreach and relationship development with target accounts: family offices, sovereign wealth, asset managers, BTC treasury holders.
• Own the full BD cycle from first contact through to signed agreement independently.
• Develop account plans for highest-priority institutional targets.
• Brief the Head of Capital Strategy and CEO on pipeline status and close probabilities.
• Work with the IR Director on introducing institutional partners to Interest.One fund vehicles.
• Represent Mintlayer at GCC and European institutional investor conferences.

About The Role
The institutional adoption of Bitcoin-native financial infrastructure is in its early innings. The BD professionals who build the right relationships now — with family offices, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, and Bitcoin treasury holders across GCC, Europe, and Asia — will define this market for years. Mintlayer is the platform those relationships are built around. This role is the person who builds them.
