Job summary

United Al Saqer Group (UASG) in Abu Dhabi seeks an Information Security Consultant to guide security strategy, assess risks, and implement policies. The role focuses on safeguarding data, systems, and cloud services while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.

You will lead incident response, perform threat hunting, and coordinate vulnerability management across multi-cloud and on-prem environments, promoting secure DevOps and governance practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4–6 years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity or IT security role.
• Certifications (Mandatory): CISSP or CISM.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with ITIL practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate security tools including SIEM, EDR, PAM, DLP, and IDS/IPS to detect, analyse, and respond to threats.
• Lead the response to security incidents and breaches, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Proactively hunt for threats across the IT landscape, ensuring security of core network assets, email gateways, and cloud services.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and coordinate penetration testing, drive remediation with relevant teams.
• Monitor and optimize security logs and alerts for effective detection and timely escalation.
