Job summary

Ecolab in the UAE is seeking an ITC in F&B to advise on cleaning, sanitation, CIP/COP systems and equipment optimization across brewery, beverage, dairy, and food processing lines.

You will partner with sales engineers and technical teams to audit production lines, conduct on-site assessments, and translate findings into value-adding actions while documenting results in CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, biotechnology, chemistry or related technical field.

What You Will Do

• Act as the application expert for F&B customers, with a strong focus on brewery operations, cleaning and sanitation programs, CIP/COP systems, bottle washer optimization, membrane cleaning, and other hygiene-critical processes.
• Connect Ecolab F&B application solutions, product portfolio, digital tools, and service programs to customer challenges such as food safety, microbiological control, product quality, asset protection, water use, energy efficiency, and total operating cost.
• Partner with local sales engineers, CAM, BDM, and customer technical teams to audit production lines, cleaning objects, fillers, washers, tanks, heat exchangers, and packaging areas to identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct on-site technical assessments, hygiene audits, CIP verifications, cleaning performance reviews, and troubleshooting activities; translate findings into clear action plans, service reports, and customer value documentation.
• Support sales field teams during customer visits by explaining technical findings, demonstrating the value of Ecolab programs, and positioning solutions in language that connects with brewery, beverage, dairy, and food processing operations.
• Support the sales team with MBR, QBR, and ABR preparation as needed.
• Lead product trials, application testing, cleaning program optimization, and new technology introductions, ensuring trial objectives, success criteria, operating parameters, safety requirements, and expected customer value are clearly defined.
• Document service activities in CRM by using TVD tools
• Train sales teams, service teams, distributors, and customers on F&B applications, cleaning principles, brewery hygiene, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with marketing, R&D, supply chain, regulatory, and commercial teams to support program development, localization, launch readiness, and post-launch technical support.
• Use CRM and internal reporting tools to document technical activities, improvement opportunities, trial outcomes, value delivered, customer commitments, and follow-up actions
• Communicate value to customers by translating technical results into clear business outcomes and agreed follow-up actions.
• Stay informed about F&B trends, brewery processes, cleaning technologies, microbiological control, sustainability requirements, competitor activity, and regional customer needs.
• Take ownership of Ecolab service tools, ensure they are used effectively to support application work, and proactively identify additional tools or resources needed to improve technical service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, biotechnology, chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of brewing processes, cleaning chemistry, sanitation principles, and microbiology.
• Agile, self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a customer-facing technical role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
• Fluency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on F&B application experience in brewery, beverage, dairy, or food processing, with strong knowledge of cleaning, sanitation, CIP/COP, and hygiene-critical processes.
• Proven ability to conduct technical audits, troubleshooting, product trials, and cleaning optimization projects at customer sites.
• Ability to translate technical findings into customer value, including improvements in food safety, microbiological control, production uptime, water, energy, chemical use, and total operating cost.
