The Senior Implementation Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and integrating networking and security solutions to help clients meet their business requirements. This position requires hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, as well as other security solutions like Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, and others. The ideal candidate should have expertise to design network infrastructures that ensure high performance, security, and scalability. The Implementation Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the successful integration of network and security solutions, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting complex network issues. The role requires proficiency in network design, security integration, and troubleshooting to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient network infrastructures for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Implementation of Network & Security Solutions:

1- Design, configure, and implement advanced networking and security solutions for Campus, Data Center, and WAN environments.

2- Lead the deployment and integration of Cisco ACI (Single site and Multisite architectures), Cisco SD-WAN, SD Access, and DNA Assurance solutions.

3- Design and implement Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Endpoint Security, Micro-segmentation solutions, Email Gateway, WAF and other advanced network security strategies using products from Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.

Documentation & Standards Compliance:

1- Create and maintain comprehensive design and configuration documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and NonFunctional Requirements (NFRU).

2- Design network infrastructures that help customers achieve compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks, such as PCI-DSS, NISA etc.

Lead Network & Security Projects:

1- Lead large-scale network and security projects from inception to completion, ensuring the successful execution of solution designs, deployment, and client satisfaction.

2- Work closely with Project Managers, Technical Architects, and Client Teams to deliver high-quality, tailored solutions on time.

3- Guarantee the enforcement of network security best practices during network design, configuration, and implementation processes, including firewall management (Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point), VPN, IPS, NAC, WAF, and secure remote access solutions.

4- Design secure network solutions integrating public cloud environments, cloud native security solutions, and hybrid cloud security models.

5- Provide expertise in securing access to data, applications, and cloud environments, ensuring a consistent security posture across the network.

Troubleshooting & Optimization:

1- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security issues to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security across the network.

2- Perform continuous assessments and optimizations of implemented solutions to ensure that they meet the evolving security and business needs of clients.

Training & Client Support:

1- Provide in-depth training and knowledge transfer to clients on the operation and maintenance of the implemented solutions, ensuring long-term success and client satisfaction.

2- Offer post-deployment support to clients, troubleshooting issues and addressing evolving needs related to network security.

Industry Awareness & Innovation:

1- Stay updated on the latest advancements in network and security technologies, including trends in ZTNA, EDR, SD-WAN, cloud security, Email Gateways andnetwork automation.

2- Proactively research new solutions and technologies for ability to lead any discussion with customer.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in network and security implementation.

Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.)

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, and Cisco ACI.

Proficiency in deploying and managing Cisco Security products such as FTD Firewalls,

Cisco Umbrella SASE, Cisco ISE, Secure Endpoint and Email Gateways.

Experience with other security products including Fortinet Firewalls, Palo Alto Firewalls,

Check Point Firewalls, SSE and Endpoint Security.

Extensive experience with Cisco SD Access, SD-WAN, and DNA Assurance.

Demonstrated capability in creating high-standard documentation such as HLD, LLD, and NFRU.

Deep understanding of Public Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure & OCI) and integrating cloud-native security solutions into network designs.

Relevant certifications such as CCIE, PCNSE, NSE or equivalent are highly desirable.

Strong communication skills with the ability to lead discussions and engage with client senior management effectively.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to proactively learn and implement new technologies without requiring extensive guidance or support.
