International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA) is seeking a Senior Officer – Project Accounting to lead the project accounting function, ensure accurate recording and reporting, and support donor-funded project compliance. You will manage budgets, codes, and allocations in the ERP, and assist the Finance Manager in strong financial controls.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a major in Accounting.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in project accounting for donor-funded work.
• Strong IFRS knowledge, including IFRS 16 lease accounting.
• Hands-on ERP experience, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Solid understanding of project costing, cost allocation, and budget management.
• Excellent English communication and strong Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and oversee ICBA’s project accounting processes and reporting.
• Review budgets, allocate expenses, and ensure funds are available before approvals.
• Maintain project codes and allocate costs accurately in the ERP.
• Process budget revisions, rollovers, and budget clearances as required.
• Validate general ledger entries and perform necessary adjustments in the ERP.
• Review staff timesheets and ensure grant/compliance adherence in allocations.
• Compute project accruals and manage closeout adjustments.
• Review partner and sub-grantee financial reports for contract compliance.
• Prepare periodic donor financial reports and coordinate project audits.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and support month/year-end close activities.
