Job summary

EY in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Consultant for FAAS within Assurance to address accounting and financial reporting challenges. You will lead engagements across MENA, help implement ICFR, and support governance framework development while mentoring junior staff.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, Arabic preferred, and deep expertise in ICFR, governance, and IFRS transitions. A Big 4 background and professional credentials are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication; Arabic preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience managing teams and multiple engagements concurrently.
• Demonstrated mentoring of junior team members.
• Experience in ICFR, Corporate Governance, Board Support.
• Ability to lead deliverables within the agreed scope and client requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Qualifying credentials such as CIA, ACCA, CRMA, GRCP, GRCA.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical contributions in ICFR and governance across MENA across engagements.
• Plan, manage and deliver engagements; prepare tailored client deliverables.
• Build and maintain relationships with client management and understand industry drivers.
• Identify risks and escalate issues per Q&R guidelines.
• Mentor junior team members and foster learning culture.
