Qualifications

• Diploma, ITI, or hydraulics related field.
• 4–5 years of experience repairing hydraulic pumps and hydraulic equipment.
• Experience with gear pumps, vane pumps, piston pumps, hydraulic motors, and power packs is preferred.
• Ability to use workshop tools and hydraulic testing equipment.
• Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic computer skills for preparing reports and recording maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose faults in hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and reassemble hydraulic pumps and components.
• Replace worn or damaged parts such as bearings, seals, shafts, gears, pistons, and O‑rings.
• Perform pressure, flow, and performance testing using hydraulic test benches.
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
• Measure components using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and dial indicators.
• Maintain accurate service reports and repair records.
• Ensure workshop tools, equipment, and work areas are clean and well‑maintained.
• Identify spare parts required for repairs and report inventory needs.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Assist with preventive maintenance activities and emergency repairs when required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop productivity and quality.
