Job summary
Enerwhere is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to monitor and optimize renewable and hybrid power systems across multiple sites. You will focus on maximizing renewable penetration, improving reliability, reducing diesel consumption, and optimizing BESS performance while ensuring high asset availability through data-driven operations.
The role blends performance engineering, operational optimization, troubleshooting, commissioning support, and asset management, collaborating with Operations,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years in power generation, renewables or electrical utilities.
- Experience with Solar PV, Hybrid Power Systems, Diesel Generators, and BESS.
- Experience with commissioning and testing of electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Experience managing multiple sites and renewable asset portfolios is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor hybrid power system performance using SCADA and analytics tools.
- Analyze KPIs: energy generation, fuel consumption, battery performance, inverter efficiency, power quality.
- Identify performance issues and optimization opportunities.
- Develop strategies to improve renewable utilization and reduce fuel use.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize control strategies and automation.
