Job summary

Azizi Group in Dubai is seeking an experienced HV Project Engineer - Electrical to lead high voltage projects from design to commissioning. You will manage substations, switchgear and transformers while coordinating with consultants, clients and utilities to meet project specs and authority requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 7–10 years in HV projects within MEP or power infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
7–10 years of HV electrical project experience in MEP or power infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of HV substations, switchgear, transformers, protection relays and earthing.
Experience with utility coordination and authority approvals.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.
Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and execute HV electrical projects including substations, switchgear, transformers and related systems.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, utilities and internal teams to ensure compliance with specs and authority requirements.
Review HV drawings, single-line diagrams, protection schemes and submittals.
Plan activities, monitor progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Supervise site installation, testing, commissioning and energization of HV systems.
Ensure compliance with DEWA/ADDC/SEWA and local/international codes.
Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, testing and approvals.
Identify risks, resolve issues and support close-out documentation.
