Job summary
SEGULA Technologies is a global engineering group delivering high‑voltage power transmission expertise across major projects in the UAE. The Cable Engineer will provide specialist technical review for high‑voltage cable systems, supporting design, testing, and handover activities.
Your role focuses on reviewing designs, routing, interfaces, and vendor documentation, ensuring EPC standards are met and facilitating smooth testing, commissioning, and handover in complex transmission environments.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience with high-voltage cable systems in power projects.
- Proven track record in transmission or substation cable projects.
- Experience with EPC design-review processes.
- Knowledge of cable installation, testing and commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Review high-voltage cable-system designs and submissions.
- Review cable routing, layouts and engineering documentation.
- Review installation and interface requirements.
- Coordinate civil, substation and electrical interfaces.
- Review technical changes and vendor documentation.
- Support testing and commissioning readiness.
- Review as-built and handover documentation.
- Strong experience with high-voltage cable systems.
- Experience in transmission or substation cable projects.
- Strong EPC design-review experience.
- Knowledge of cable installation, testing and commissioning requirements.
- Strong multidisciplinary interface-management skills.
