Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an HSEW Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental management for road and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on compliance with HSE policies, legal regulations, and international standards to achieve a zero‑incident environment.

You will develop and oversee the HSE Management System, lead safety teams, perform audits and risk assessments, and coordinate with authorities to ensure best practices across all project zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety or environmental sciences is required.
• 10–15 years HSE experience in infrastructure projects with at least 5 years in management.
• NEBOSH Diploma/IGC, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project HSE Management System.
• Lead safety teams, inspectors, and officers across all project zones.
• Conduct HSE audits, inspections, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Approve risk assessments, method statements, and emergency response plans.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, OSHA standards, ISO 45001, and environmental guidelines.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct HSE orientation, training programs, and competency evaluations.
• Manage reporting of KPIs, safety statistics, and monthly HSE dashboards.
• Coordinate with authorities, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders for safety compliance.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the entire workforce.
