Job summary

Royal International Construction seeks a highly experienced Project HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental management across civil and infrastructure projects. The role requires strategic leadership and a passion for promoting a proactive safety culture throughout all project stages.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering; 15+ years in HSE; minimum 5+ years in a managerial capacity; proven project management experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or engineering.
Minimum 15 years inHealth, Safety, and Environmental Management within the Civil Engineering and Construction industry.
At least 5+ years in a managerial capacity overseeing project‑level HSE operations.
Proven background in project management in industrial/construction environments.
NEBOSH Level 6 (or equivalent)
CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
NVQ Level 6
Lead Auditor Certifications – ISO 45001 and ISO 14001

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, systems, and procedures in alignment with company and project requirements.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented.
Provide HSE training and awareness programs to all staff and subcontractors.
Lead site inspections and support project teams in maintaining a safe working environment.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and government authorities on all HSE matters.
Promote a strong safety‑first culture, ensuring that HSE objectives are integrated into all project operations.
