Job summary

Client of Parisima Talent is seeking a proactive HSE Officer to implement and continuously improve HSE management systems across operations in Abu Dhabi. The role reports to the Regional HSE Manager and involves driving safety culture, incident investigations, and ESG-related activities.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in HSE/Environmental Science/Engineering, 5+ years of experience (3+ in HSE), fluent English, and a UAE driving licence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HSE, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in an HSE role.
• Fluent English communication skills; UAE Driving License.
• NEBOSH IGC preferred; Internal Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• HSE management and compliance: implement and maintain the HSE Management Plan; conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Training and awareness: coordinate HSE training and safety campaigns; support emergency preparedness and drills.
• Incident management and reporting: oversee investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Audits and continuous improvement: run annual HSE audit programs; track KPIs and management reviews.
• Environmental & ESG support: assist with environmental initiatives and sustainability reporting.
• Stakeholder engagement: provide guidance to teams; coordinate with facilities, security and real estate teams.
