Job summary

China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) seeks an HSE Officer to join our HSE team on a major Dubai project. You will lead safety initiatives, drive compliance, and partner with site teams to minimize risk across operations.

The role requires a degree in Health & Safety or Engineering and 5+ years of experience in high-rise or large-scale projects. You will coordinate audits, training, and client communications to uphold safety excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Health and Safety or Engineering.
• Experience in high-rise or large-scale projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide facilitation and leadership to maintain a safe and healthy workplace for staff and visitors.
• Ensure HSE is a priority and continually improved through action planning and best practices.
• Facilitate implementation of Health & Safety Procedures.
• Train and familiarise staff with procedures, policies and documentation.
• Regularly review and update Health & Safety Procedures.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Liaise and brief clients on internal procedures.
• Supervise HSE staff, assign inspection schedules and training needs.
• Maintain a register of incidents and issue non-conformance notices.
