Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly qualified Senior HSE Officer with over 10 years of experience to lead our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives for construction projects in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and mitigating risks associated with construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain the HSE management system in accordance with local regulations.
  2. Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, and assessments.
  3. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for construction activities.
  4. Ensure that all workers are trained in safe work practices and emergency procedures.
  5. Develop and deliver HSE training programs and workshops.
  6. Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  7. Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain records of all HSE activities.
  8. Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  9. Conduct regular drills and exercises.
  10. Coordinate with local emergency services and authorities to ensure effective emergency response capabilities.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5+ years of experience in HSE management within the construction sector.

Skills:

  1. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to construction.
