Job summary

EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior HSE Inspector to join the SHEQ team. You will monitor and enforce HSE requirements across manufacturing and surface treatment operations, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and international standards while promoting a proactive safety culture.

The role covers inspections of facilities, incident investigations, risk assessments, and training deliveries, with a focus on preventing injuries and environmental incidents and ensuring safe

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
• NEBOSH IGC Certificate required or equivalent.
• ADOSH/NEBOSH IGC or equivalent preferred.
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification desirable.
• ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 awareness or lead auditor preferred.
• Fire Safety / First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE legislation and company procedures.
• Monitor and enforce customer-specific HSE requirements and aerospace standards.
• Support ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and AS9100 compliance related to HSE.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of manufacturing areas and facilities.
• Identify unsafe acts/conditions and environmental risks; verify corrective actions.
• Monitor machine guarding, LOTO, hot work and height safety activities.
• Inspect chemical storage, SDS compliance, spill kits, and waste management.
• Participate in risk assessments for new equipment, chemicals, or processes.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; perform root-cause analysis.
• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety campaigns; monitor contractor compliance.
