Job summary

Hill International is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to implement project-specific HSE management systems in Abu Dhabi. You will audit, inspect, and assess risks, review contractors' HSE plans, and coordinate training to sustain safety culture on-site.

The role requires handling incident investigations, preparing client reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE/Abu Dhabi regulations and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have 12+ years of experience in health, safety and environmental fields.
• Mandatory HSE Level 6 and Level 3 qualifications.
• Strong technical/engineering knowledge and UAE/Abu Dhabi work experience.
• Membership of a recognized international body (e.g., IOSH) with CPD records.

Responsibilities

• Assist management in implementing project-specific HSE management systems.
• Review and advise on contractors' HSE plans and safe systems of work.
• Conduct HSE audits and inspections to verify compliance.
• Investigate incidents and prepare HSE reports for clients.
• Support training and competence arrangements and monitor regulatory compliance.
