Job summary

Flip retail is seeking a Sr. Safety Engineer to lead HSE programs across design, fabrication, and commissioning within Abu Dhabi's oil & gas sector. The role requires a Bachelor-level degree in Engineering, Science, or HSE, plus NEBOSH IGC or equivalent and ISO 45001/14001 lead-auditor credentials.

Strong incident investigation skills and team leadership are essential. Ideal candidates will have extensive HSE experience (15+ years) in building, fabrication, installation, or commissioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor level in Engineering, Science or HSE discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC or matching (ADNOC-based) qualification.
• Lead auditor ISO 45001/ISO 14001 or equivalent.
• Incident investigation strategy development and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of HSE professionals (HSE Designers, Sr. HSE Officers, HSE Officers) to deliver safety programs.
• Develop and implement HSE strategies and emergency response plans.
• Oversee audits and ensure compliance with HSE management systems and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively in English; manage SSOW/PTW/WMS and related safety processes.

Education

Bachelor level in Engineering OR Science OR HSE

NEBOSH IGC or equivalent (ADNOC-based)
