Job summary

Hill International seeks an experienced HSSE professional to monitor and improve the Health, Safety and Environment management on a major project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves audits, reporting, and coordination with Contractors, Consultants and governmental bodies to ensure compliance with local regulations and client requirements.

The successful candidate will develop HSSE KPIs, promote a safety culture, and support implementation of environmental management plans.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in the health and safety field.
• Good technical/engineering knowledge.
• Experience in marine dredging and land reclamation projects.
• Excellent understanding of local HSE regulations (Abu Dhabi).
• English proficiency and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the implementation of the HSSE Management System for the project.
• Periodically conduct audits to assess compliance with HSSE systems and procedures.
• Interact with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to assess HSSE performance and report trends.
• Assist in developing HSSE strategy, KPIs and training programs.
• Ensure timely reporting to MODON and other authorities.
