Job summary

A leading consulting firm is seeking a Senior HSE Engineer for a key client based in Abu Dhabi. The role requires strong expertise in HSE issues within the oil & gas sector, with responsibilities for team leadership and compliance. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in HSE management and relevant certifications. This is a contract position for 18 months, starting in June 2025.

Qualifications

Minimum 8-10 years' experience in HSE in oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent required.
Experience in construction, fabrication, and commissioning projects.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of HSE personnel.
Develop and implement HSE and Welfare plans.
Ensure compliance with HSE management system and legislative requirements.

We are looking for a Senior HSE Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Start Date: 23 JUN 2025

Contract Duration: 18 months

Location: Abu Dhabi - UAE

Qualifications & Experience Required

Master - Undergraduate
Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behavioural aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business.
Able to lead a team of HSE personnel such as HSE officers, Hygiene officers etc.
Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.
Ability to develop and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans.
Minimum 8-10 years' experience in HSE in construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects / operations in the oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
