Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- The HSE Advisor will be responsible for the provision of timely advice and guidance on all matters pertaining to Health, Safety and the Environment with respect to Legislation, Company Policies and Client requirements.
- Support a team of Advisors to assist in the delivery of Wood EPCM projects.
- Provide visibility and interface of the HSE function. Work in collaboration with other members of the team and the wider business to facilitate high performance delivery through successful implementation of processes and systems, in a sustainable manner.
- Contribute to the development of the HSE Assurance Plan to deliver high risk audits across the area or Division of responsibility; provide advice and recommendations of improvement.
- Advise and assist site management in the preparation of Safety & Environmental Plans, Risk Assessments and method statements for various projects in line with client SLAs / KPIs.
- Work with on-site management in the development, delivery, implementation and maintenance of Business Unit specific HSE policies and procedures.
- Prepare safety and environmental reports as required.
- Conduct safety and environmental audits and inspections in accordance with the Integrated Management system.
- Prepare and deliver training courses / toolbox talks to ensure full knowledge of H&S requirements and techniques.
- Report to Line Management of HSE activities.
- Conduct loss event investigations and prepare reports for internal / external purposes.
- Provide HSE advice and direction to on-site management, staff and contractors.
- Assist site management in the periodic preparation and presentation of seminars/training for clients, own employees and other interested parties/stakeholders.
- Sharing information, suggestions and observations to create consistency throughout the Company.
- Assist other members of the team across business unit audits.
- Meeting company Occupational Health and Safety goals.
- Liaise with Health & Safety stewards on a regular basis ensuring consultation and participation of workforce.
- Drive behavioral culture change programs.
- Manage relationship with client’s HSE teams.
The Senior HSE Engineer will be responsible for creating demonstrable value for customers by understanding their drivers and critical success factors. Execute technical work for FEED and detail design within designated Cost Time & Resource (CTR) scopes. Implement, practice and monitor Quality Management System (QMS) in FEED office projects. Carry out appropriate discipline, inter-discipline checks and reviews of engineering and design work and contribute to excellent HSE performance throughout the engineering phase of the project life cycle.
