Qualifications

• 8–10 years of HSE experience in construction projects.

Job description

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with legal and client requirements
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions
• Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and ensure timely implementation of corrective measures
• Provide HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for all levels of staff and subcontractors
• Ensure all activities comply with local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards
• Monitor and report HSE performance indicators and maintain all documentation accurately
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure HSE standards are upheld
• Promote continuous improvement in HSE practices and culture at the workplace
• Manage emergency response plans and ensure preparedness for potential incidents.
• We need candidates who is only available in UAE and possible location will be in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
• Minimum 8–10 years of HSE experience in construction projects
• At least 3–4 years in a senior HSE role
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, NEBOSH, etc.)
• Experience conducting HSE audits, inspections, and incident investigations
• Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a dynamic construction environment
• Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent preferred
• Proficient in HSE software and reporting tools
