Bybit Limited is seeking a Senior HRBP Specialist for Technology & Engineering to partner with the CTO and senior tech leaders. The role focuses on delivering strategic HR solutions for large-scale engineering teams across a global tech organization.

The ideal candidate brings extensive HRBP experience in technology, strong data-driven capabilities, and fluency in Chinese with excellent executive engagement skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HRBP experience in technology/engineering leadership roles.
• 2+ years hands-on HRBP experience supporting Tech functions (Software Eng, Data, AI, Infra or related).
• Strong understanding of engineering org structures and technical talent markets.
• Experience in organization design, workforce planning, and talent management.
• Fluent Chinese is mandatory; English is a strong advantage; capable executive engagement with CTO-level leaders.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our global Technology organization (such as Software Engineering, Data, Artificial Intelligence, Infrastructure, and other technology functions), partnering closely with the CTO and senior Tech leaders.

The ideal candidate brings strong HRBP expertise, hands‑on experience supporting large-scale technology and engineering organizations, and a solid understanding of technical talent, engineering team structures, and the challenges of scaling high-performing technology teams. This role requires a commercially minded, data-driven, and proactive HR partner who can confidently advise senior technical leaders and drive effective people and organizational solutions.

Responsibilities

Partner closely with the CTO and senior leaders across Software Engineering, Data, AI, Infrastructure, and related technology functions, providing strategic and hands‑on HR support.

Develop a strong understanding of technology priorities, engineering operating models, organizational structures, and technical talent challenges, translating them into effective people strategies.

Advise leadership on organization design, workforce planning, engineering team structures, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.

Drive performance management, talent reviews, technical career development, promotions, retention, and leadership development initiatives.

Partner with engineering leaders to identify critical technical capabilities, talent gaps, productivity challenges, and opportunities to strengthen engineering effectiveness.

Manage complex employee relations matters, including performance issues, disciplinary cases, employee disputes, and sensitive investigations.

Collaborate with HR COEs and Talent Acquisition on strategic technical hiring, compensation competitiveness, talent retention, and organizational transformation.

Leverage people analytics and workforce insights to improve talent quality, organizational productivity, and workforce planning.

Ensure effective implementation of HR policies and practices in alignment with applicable employment regulations and internal governance standards.

Requirements

5+ years of HRBP experience, with proven experience partnering with senior technology and engineering leaders.

At least 2 years hands‑on HRBP experience supporting Tech functions (such as Software Engineering, Data, AI, Infrastructure, or related technical functions), preferably within leading technology, internet, fintech, or high‑growth companies.

Strong understanding of engineering organizational structures, technical talent markets, engineering career frameworks, and the challenges of scaling technology teams.

Proven experience in organization design, workforce planning, talent management, performance management, and complex employee relations.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence and maturity to advise and challenge CTO-level executives and senior engineering leaders.

Data-driven, commercially minded, and hands‑on, with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities and the ability to operate independently.

Fluent Chinese is mandatory, with excellent communication and executive stakeholder engagement skills. English is a strong advantage.

Experience supporting large‑scale, distributed engineering teams in a fast‑paced, international, and rapidly evolving technology environment is preferred.
