Job summary

Alexander Lyons Solutions is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner (Senior Manager grade) to own the people agenda for commercial, product and engineering across APAC. The role is hybrid and based in Dubai, reporting to the Chief People Officer.

The position blends embedded partnering on capability, workforce and organisation with leading group-wide talent initiatives, supporting senior leaders and ensuring legal compliance while driving value creation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior HRBP or people partnering roles in tech, product or fintech.
• Experience in organisation design and building capability.
• Experience partnering with sales, product or operations.
• Experience in multi-country or matrixed environments, ideally across APAC.
• Strong stakeholder influence and programme management; data-driven decision making.
• University degree in HR, business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior commercial, product and engineering leaders on capability, workforce and organisation needs.
• Build and deliver a people strategy linked to group workforce model and value-creation plan.
• Define and roll out a skills framework, identify capability gaps and run development programmes to close them.
• Lead talent management, including identifying high-potential employees and succession planning.
• Design career frameworks covering levels, progression routes and development paths; lead organisation design and change.

Our client, a high-growth B2B technology and payments group, is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner at Senior Manager grade to own the people agenda for its commercial, product and engineering functions across APAC. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this is a hybrid role based in Dubai.

It's a step up from the traditional HRBP model. Around 70% of the role is embedded partnering on capability, workforce and organisation; the other 30% is leading group-wide talent initiatives.

What you'll do

• Partner with senior commercial, product and engineering leaders on capability, workforce and organisation needs
• Build and deliver a people strategy for your area, linked to the group workforce model and value-creation plan
• Define and roll out a skills framework, find capability gaps, and run the development programmes that close them
• Run the talent management cycle, including identifying high-potential people and succession planning
• Design career frameworks covering levels, progression routes and development pathsLead organisation design and change, and push back on decisions with alternatives where needed
• Work with Talent Acquisition, Reward, People Operations and Insights on headcount, pay and the employee value proposition
• Coach senior leaders, keep the business legally compliant and resolve complex employee issues

What you'll bring

Nice to have: experience in a PE-backed business or transformation, CIPD Level 7 or equivalent, an MBA or OD/change certification, or an understanding of Agile.
