Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive in Dubai is seeking a skilled Technician for our Truck Division. You will service and repair heavy commercial vehicles in the workshop and in the field, ensuring issues are fixed right the first time and responding to emergencies around the clock.

You will need 4-5 years of hands-on experience with heavy vehicles, a trade certificate or diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering, and the ability to read workshop manuals.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering or apprenticeship completed.
• 4-5 years hands-on experience with heavy commercial vehicles.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage and ability to support out-of-hours breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and checks for trouble-free operation.
• Replace wear components like brake pads, air bellows, belts and pulleys.
• Identify potential problems early while working on site or in the workshop.
• Follow workshop manuals to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Read and apply service checklists where available.
• Explain work completed clearly to Foreman and Service Advisor.
• Support customers with round-the-clock service and emergency breakdown response.
