Job summary

Cygnify is seeking a senior QA/ Test lead to drive alpha testing, validate lab outcomes, and derive actionable insights from live data. You will build a leading quality dashboard covering software and hardware indicators and craft robust product-level test specs.

Applicants should have 7+ years in product quality or software testing, with strong Python data analysis skills, SQL, and dashboarding experience in Tableau or Power BI. Knowledge of IoT, embedded, cloud, and ML adds value.

Qualifications

• Minimally 7 years product quality or software test relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer engineering / Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
• Highly proficient in Python for data manipulation and statistical analysis with Pandas and NumPy.
• Skilled in building dashboards using Tableau or Power BI for senior leadership tracking.
• Proficient in SQL and cloud data platforms like AWS Redshift.
• Strong understanding of electronics hardware interfacing to software systems.
• Knowledge of software in IoT products (embedded, app, cloud, ML).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of presenting complex tech to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage home (alpha) test initiatives to catch issues early in development.
• Validate lab test outcomes against design quality for seamless integration.
• Analyze in-life product quality and data streams to produce actionable insights.
• Build and drive a leading quality dashboard for software and hardware quality indicators.
• Develop robust product-level test specifications and analytics.
• Prepare detailed test specs aligned with milestones for design and engineering teams.
• Drive innovations in testing methods including AI/ML and advanced analytics.
• Act as technical authority within Test & QA, collaborating across teams.
• Report test progress and software quality status to senior stakeholders.
