The role requires interpreting technical drawings, performing inspections and maintaining comprehensive quality documentation, reports, and logs, while coordinating with construction teams and client representatives to resolve issues.

Qualifikationen

• Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in GRE, GRP, and/or HDPE piping.
• Knowledge of composite and thermoplastic piping materials and joining techniques.
• Ability to interpret piping drawings, project specs, method statements, and ITPs.
• Knowledge of material inspection, jointing procedures, pressure testing, and quality documentation.
• Ability to identify installation defects and manage non-conformance reporting and corrective actions.
• Good communication, reporting, and site coordination skills.

Aufgaben

• Inspect GRE, GRP, and HDPE pipes and fittings for compliance.
• Verify material identification, dimensions, certificates, and traceability.
• Inspect piping installation, alignment, supports, handling, storage, and joint preparation.
• Monitor joining activities and approved procedures.
• Verify jointing parameters and curing requirements.
• Witness pressure tests and leak tests.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, ITPs, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with construction teams, QA/QC personnel, contractors, and client representatives.
• Ensure site safety procedures compliance.
