Job summary

Al-Futtaim (Orient Insurance PJSC) in Dubai seeks a Senior Governance, Risk & Compliance Specialist to maintain robust governance frameworks and ensure regulatory adherence within the UAE insurance sector. The role also oversees GRC for international branches and leads compliance programs.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years’ experience in governance and compliance, with a law/finance/risk background and regulatory liaison capabilities with UAE authorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in governance and compliance within UAE insurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Risk or related field; master’s or certifications preferred.
• Liaising with UAE regulators (CBUAE, SCA, DoH, DHA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement corporate governance frameworks and policies.
• Ensure compliance with UAE insurance, healthcare and AML laws.
• Act as primary point of contact for regulatory audits, inspections and inquiries.
• Oversee GRC functions for international branches and subsidiaries.
• Conduct employee training on regulatory changes and compliance updates.
