Job summary

Orient Insurance PJSC seeks a Senior Governance, Risk & Compliance Specialist to strengthen the company’s governance framework and regulatory posture in the UAE insurance market. You will lead initiatives across governance and compliance, interact with regulators, and oversee GRC for subsidiaries outside the UAE.

Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years in UAE insurance compliance, a law/finance background, and strong liaison with CBUAE, SCA, DoH, and DHA.

Qualifications

8–10 years in Governance and Compliance within UAE insurance.
Deep knowledge of UAE insurance and healthcare regulations, governance frameworks, and risk management best practices.
Bachelor’s degree; Master and/or certifications in compliance, AML, risk or governance preferred.
Strong analytical and communication skills with senior stakeholders.
Experience liaising with UAE regulators: CBUAE, SCA, DoH, DHA.
Experience managing GRC for international branches and subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the corporate governance framework and policies across the organization.
Ensure compliance with UAE insurance laws, healthcare regulations, AML, and regulator standards.
Provide training and awareness programs on regulatory changes and industry updates.
Serve as primary contact for regulatory audits and inquiries.
Collaborate with regulators and industry bodies to stay ahead of evolving expectations.
Oversee governance/compliance for branches outside UAE, ensuring local law adherence.
