Job summary

ENGIE IMEA in Dubai seeks a Government Relationship Manager to develop and maintain relationships with government authorities and to facilitate permitting and planning for Abu Dhabi projects. The role is on-site and permanent, reporting to the AMEA region based in Dubai.

The position requires planning and leading meetings with municipalities and agencies, coordinating with project teams, and securing licenses and permits while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in government relations or similar roles with Abu Dhabi government entities.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic communication.
• Knowledge of UAE laws, CICPA processes and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Strategically develop and maintain relationships with government authorities to facilitate permitting and planning for Abu Dhabi projects.
• Plan and lead meetings with municipalities, local authorities and agencies; develop and follow up on approvals.
• Coordinate between Engie project teams and authorities; arrange licenses, permits, and events.
• Plan and manage government relations activities to ensure compliance and smooth project delivery.
