Thrifty Car Rental is seeking a Head of Government Relations Legal to bridge management with UAE and Oman regulatory bodies. You will ensure 100% legal compliance across licenses, permits, and approvals while proactively driving revenue through government contracts and tenders.

You will oversee trade licenses and permits, monitor UAE and Oman laws, advise leadership, and guide external counsel in litigations, focusing on fleet compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Administration, or Business Management or equivalent.
• 10+ years of Government Relations or Legal Affairs experience in the GCC, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Native Arabic and professional English fluency.
• Deep understanding of UAE Federal Laws and Oman Royal Decrees affecting business.

Responsabilités

• Strategic Government Liaison with UAE and Oman regulatory bodies.
• Represent the company with government departments and licensing authorities.
• Drive government revenue by securing vehicle leasing and rental contracts with government bodies.
• Oversee tender management and legal/commercial review of RFPs and bids.
• Build a network of decision-makers in government procurement.
• Oversee fleet compliance and adherence to safety standards.
