Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial development experience, including 3+ years with Go in production.
• Higher education in Computer Science.
• Experience with AI integration in a team setting.
• FinTech/banking domain experience and complex integrations.
• Strong Go concurrency (goroutines, channels) and production-grade microservices with gRPC.
• Containerizing and deploying backend services.
• PostgreSQL expertise: schema design, queries, migrations.
• RabbitMQ or Kafka for event-driven architectures.
• REST API design and testing.
• Grafana/Prometheus for monitoring and alerting.
• Strong knowledge of scalable, highly available systems.
• Active code reviews and Agile/Scrum experience.
• English level: Upper-Intermediate+.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve a real-time cross-selling platform with real-time data flows.
• Own backend powering multiple user-facing apps and microservices.
• Design/maintain REST and gRPC APIs for core insurance platforms and third parties.
• Model transactional data in PostgreSQL, including audits.
• Implement event-driven workflows with RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Write unit/integration tests focusing on monetary calculations and claims accuracy.
• Instrument services with Grafana/Prometheus for monitoring.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high quality and maintainability.
• Contribute to scalable, available platform design and architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps in Agile/Scrum.
