Core42, a leader in AI-powered cloud and digital infrastructure, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend/Go) to architect, scale, and own high‑impact backend services that power our platform in the Middle East.

You will collaborate across product and DevOps, design cloud‑native microservices, APIs, and data models, mentor juniors, and drive reliability, security, observability, and performance using Go, Python, Kubernetes, Azure, Terraform, and CI/CD in a fast‑growing environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go and Python with cloud-native focus.
• Expertise in designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Hands-on with Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and IaC.
• Experience with distributed systems, caching, and scalability.
• Mentorship, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale backend services powering the platform.
• Design high-performance, secure, reliable systems for mission-critical ops.
• Develop PaaS services using Go, including Kubernetes operators.
• Lead design reviews, coding standards, and mentor mid-level engineers.
• Ensure observability with logging, tracing, and real-time metrics.
• Collaborate with Product and DevOps to drive CI/CD pipelines.
