Job summary

Black & Grey HR, in partnership with a leading Tier-1 UAE contractor, seeks a General Manager - Store Management to lead warehouse and store operations across project sites and central warehouses in the UAE.

The candidate should bring 20+ years in construction materials inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations, with 8–10 years in senior leadership and multi-location teams.

Qualifications

20+ years of progressive experience in store management, warehousing, or supply chain operations within the construction sector.
8–10 years in a senior leadership capacity, managing large teams across multiple locations.
Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision-making capabilities.
Ability to translate data into actionable insights and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

Direct end-to-end store and warehouse operations across project sites and central warehouses.
Design and implement robust inventory control strategies for stock availability and accuracy.
Oversee receiving, storage, issuance, and distribution of construction materials, tools, and consumables.
Ensure adherence to HSE standards and internal audit requirements.
Collaborate with Procurement, Project Management, Finance, and Logistics to optimize material flow.
Champion process improvements and digitalization in store management.
Lead and develop store management personnel to drive excellence and continuous improvement.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and management reports for senior leadership.
