Job summary

Deel is seeking a relocation and immigration operations professional to manage the mobility needs of our global workforce. You will collaborate with HR, legal, and tax teams to ensure compliant international assignments and relocations while expanding Deel's global talent pool.

You will stay current on immigration laws across regions, advise clients, and drive process improvements to support seamless employee movement in a fast-growing SaaS company.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in global mobility, with UAE immigration experience.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of relocation, immigration, and tax compliance across regions.
• Experience collaborating with HR, Legal, Tax and Finance to manage mobility processes.
• Experience with work/residence permits, notifications, renewals and cancellations.
• Familiarity with mobility tools and vendor management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to handle multiple cases.
• Policy development and process optimization experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business or related; GMS certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage immigration cases from start to finish, including complex scenarios.
• Update and action cases in case management systems within SLAs/KPIs.
• Serve as a point of contact for escalations within the immigration team.
• Conduct regular case reviews and provide feedback to junior staff.
• Advise on immigration laws within EMEA and ensure client compliance.
• Provide clear consultations on routes for immigration/work authorization.
• Deliver excellent client service through proactive case management.
• Stay updated on changes in immigration policy and communicate risks.
• Assess right-to-work requirements for EORs and other permits.
• Coordinate with internal teams for document gathering and case handling.
• Act as subject matter expert for assigned regions on immigration processes.
• Maintain and audit immigration documents for compliance and renewals.
• Support audit and maintenance of internal knowledge base on immigration requirements.
• Contribute to immigration/process improvement projects.
