Job summary

SearchPlus HR is seeking highly qualified Specialist/Consultant Gastrointestinal & Endocrine Surgeons to join leading healthcare facilities across the UAE, with a focus in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing complex GI, hepatobiliary and endocrine conditions using open, laparoscopic and minimally invasive techniques while delivering care aligned with international standards.

Candidates should hold MBBS or equivalent, recognised postgraduate General Surgery qualifications, and licensing

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognised postgraduate qualification in General Surgery.
• Western Board Certification or equivalent.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in GI and/or Endocrine Surgery.
• Eligibility for DHA/DOH Abu Dhabi or MOHAP licensing as a Specialist/Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically manage a wide range of GI and endocrine disorders.
• Perform advanced GI procedures involving stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum and related organs.
• Manage liver, pancreas and biliary system conditions within specialty.
• Perform endocrine surgeries including thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal procedures.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, oncologists and radiologists.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and participate in clinical audits and CME.
