NMDC Dredging & Marine in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to lead design and analysis for dredging, land reclamation, ports and coastal infrastructure. You will interpret investigation data, prepare design recommendations, and ensure QA/QC compliance under supervision of the Lead Engineer.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Geotechnical or related)
• Minimum 8 years of engineering and design experience in geotechnical works related to dredging, land reclamation, ports and harbours, coastal protection, offshore, and marine infrastructure projects.

• Prepare techno-commercial inputs and support the development of geotechnical design solutions for tenders, ensuring alignment with client specifications and project objectives.
• Perform and coordinate geotechnical design activities for ongoing projects, ensuring timely delivery, technical accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Interpret and analyze geotechnical investigation data, and prepare design recommendations and technical reports under the guidance of the Lead Engineer or Geotechnical Design Manager.
• Conduct slope stability, settlement, and foundation analyses using appropriate software and engineering methodologies. Support advanced analyses when required and review the work of junior engineers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and assist in coordinating resources to meet project schedules and technical requirements.
• Identify and communicate geotechnical risks and opportunities encountered during design and project execution, and recommend practical mitigation measures.
• Support engineering research and development initiatives by contributing technical inputs for the enhancement of geotechnical design tools, methodologies, and procedures.
• Review and provide comments on design documentation and calculations prepared internally or by external consultants to ensure compliance with project requirements and engineering best practices.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to provide technical clarifications, support project execution, and ensure the timely completion of deliverables.
• Ensure that all designs and analyses comply with QA/QC requirements, industry standards, and company design guidelines.
• Promote compliance with the Company's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, ensuring safety considerations are integrated into all design and analytical activities.

Qualifications and Experience:
