Job summary

Access has partnered with a Northern European Engineering Consultancy to recruit a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for their Southampton office. You will perform complex geotechnical design for large-scale infrastructure projects, including rail and highways, in the UK and globally.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years' experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and the right to live and work in the UK. You will mentor junior team members and support chartership progression.

To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to perform complex geotechnical design in relation to large scale infrastructure projects, including rail and Highways projects in the UK and around the world. Our client is looking for a strong engineer who is looking to step up into a more senior role now that they have become chartered, or somebody on the course for chartership and would like to join a company that truly rewards progression. Your rail expertise will become a pivotal skillset in the team, and you will be expected to utilise this when mentoring more junior members of the team.
