Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Operations Geologist to oversee geological operations for Biogenic-Shallow Gas Project wells, interpret subsurface data, and integrate logs with drilling information to meet well objectives.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Geology or Engineering Geology and 8+ years in exploration and drilling, with cross-disciplinary teamwork and a strong safety focus in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Geology or Engineering Geology.
Minimum 8 years in exploration/development geology and drilling.
Experience with geological software and reporting.

Responsibilities

Oversee geological operations for Biogenic-Shallow Gas Project wells during drilling campaigns.
Interpret subsurface data and integrate logs with drilling data.
Provide input for well design, marker prognosis and well programs.
Collaborate with geomechanics, reservoir and drilling engineers to assess pore pressure and wellbore stability.
Maintain communication with project team and OPCOs during 24/7 operations.
