Job summary

Confidential, a Jubail-based industrial company in Saudi Arabia, seeks a Senior General Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with Saudi standards, and prepare financial reports. The role requires IFRS, SOCPA, VAT, Zakat, ZATCA proficiency and ERP/Excel skills, with close coordination with auditors.

You will handle financial closing cycles, ensure accuracy of records, and support tax filings and internal controls within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience in industrial/manufacturing preferred.
• SOCPA membership is required.
• Knowledge of IFRS, VAT, Zakat & ZATCA compliance is essential.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare journal entries, GL reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Perform monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare VAT returns and support Zakat and tax filings.
• Monitor AP/AR and bank reconciliations.
• Review payroll entries and reconcile payroll-related accounts.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit documentation.
• Support Local Content Certificate requirements with financial docs.
• Maintain financial reports using ERP systems and Excel.
