Job summary

Allocation Assist seeks a highly qualified Female Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. You will diagnose and treat a broad range of GI, liver, and hepatology disorders while delivering patient-centered care in line with international standards.

The role involves performing endoscopic procedures, developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with surgeons and radiologists, educating patients, and contributing to quality improvement

Qualifications

MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DHA.
Board Certification / Fellowship in Gastroenterology.
DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as Consultant Gastroenterologist.
Minimum 5–7 years of post-specialization experience in a reputed hospital.
Fluency in English; Arabic/Hindi is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage diseases related to the GI tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiologists, dietitians, and internal medicine specialists.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with DHA regulations and hospital protocols.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education programs.
Supervise junior medical staff when required.
