Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a highly qualified Female Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat a wide range of GI, liver, pancreatic, and digestive disorders while delivering patient-centred care in line with international medical standards.

You will perform endoscopic procedures, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, dietitians, and internal medicine specialists.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DHA.
• Board certification/fellowship in Gastroenterology.
• DHA license or DHA eligibility as Consultant Gastroenterologist.
• Minimum 5–7 years post-specialization experience.
• Expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic/Hindi is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diseases related to the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiologists, dietitians, and internal medicine specialists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with DHA regulations and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education programs.
• Supervise junior medical staff when required.
