Senior Functional Consultant Trade Finance Supply Chain Core bank

We are currently looking for a Senior Functional Consultant in Trade Finance Supply Chain Core Banking for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms & conditions.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this Role:

Technical Skills:

1. Very advanced programming and SQL/PLSQL language.
2. Deep knowledge of Trade Finance.
3. Very advanced programming in Java.
4. Very advanced skills in DevOps.
5. Deep knowledge of Ethix Core Banking.
6. Deep knowledge of Finances RFR and Profit calculation.
7. Very advanced programming in Crystal Reports.
8. Ability to communicate effectively with IT specialists (e.g., IT security, network infrastructure teams, etc.).

Specialist Skills:

1. Understanding of Core Banking Trade/SCF products, their workflow, and life cycle.
2. Understanding of Islamic banking and Islamic products (Murabaha, Istisna, LME, Wakala, Ijara) is a must.
3. Experience working on core Banking (Ethix).
4. Hands-on experience in implementation, configuration, and support of Core Trade/SCF systems.
5. Proven track record of working experience with Core Trade/SCF.
6. Experience defining accounting and posting rules for all Trade/SCF products and instruments.
7. Experience in SIT/UAT and stakeholder management.
8. Results-oriented individual who can work under pressure.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Experience in requirement definition and analysis workshop facilitation and documentation.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
12. Project management experience.
13. Excellent communication, presentation, and consultancy skills.

A good degree in Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of 18 years of relevant working experience is required.

Experience working in a bank or financial services company (preferably Islamic Banking).

Previous Experience Required:

Minimum 18 years in banking, with 10 years in consultation on Core Trade / Supply Chain Finance.
