Job summary

Bicycle Health, a telemedicine group specializing in evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder, seeks an experienced software engineer. You will architect and implement features using TypeScript, React, GraphQL and Node.js, collaborating with clinicians to improve patient care across the full stack.

You will uphold engineering standards and mentor junior engineers in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining scalable web applications and backend services.
• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end projects with significant backend deliverables.
• Expertise in API design and writing data persistence layers.
• Experience with iterative agile delivery, CI/CD, and writing maintainable code.
• Ability to work in a remote environment with high-speed internet.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, test and maintain critical product features using TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Node.js
• Collaborate with product managers, physicians, and nurse practitioners to build patient care solutions
• Work across the full stack, from web interfaces to datastores and cloud infrastructure
• Uphold high engineering standards and ensure consistency across codebases
• Mentor and oversee the work of less experienced engineers
