We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join a technology delivery team in Dubai. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' commercial software development experience, with strong Python capabilities and proven experience designing, building and deploying modern, scalable web applications. You will work across the full technology stack and will be expected to contribute to architecture and technical design as well as hands‑on development. Experience within airlines, aviation, travel, booking platforms or other high-volume transactional environments would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
• Build robust backend services and APIs using Python and associated frameworks.
• Develop modern, responsive front-end applications using technologies such as React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or equivalent.
• Develop solutions capable of supporting high-volume, highly available transactional environments.
• Integrate applications with third-party platforms, APIs and enterprise systems.
• Produce clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Participate in solution architecture and technical design discussions.
• Implement automated testing and contribute to CI/CD processes.
• Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy applications into cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration and performance issues.
• Conduct code reviews and promote software engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers where required.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers and client stakeholders.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, reviews and retrospectives.

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 8 years' professional software development experience.
• Strong commercial development experience using Python.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django and/or Flask.
• Strong front-end development experience using React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS skills.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of microservices and distributed application architectures.
• Strong SQL and database design experience.
• Experience with Git and modern source-control practices.
• Experience implementing automated unit, integration and API testing.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of application security, authentication and authorisation.
• Experience deploying applications within AWS, Azure or GCP environments.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum software delivery teams.

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience within the airline, aviation, airport, travel or tourism sectors.
• Experience with airline reservation, booking, ticketing or passenger-service platforms.
• Experience integrating with GDS, booking, payment, loyalty or travel-related APIs.
• Experience with high-volume, real‑time or mission‑critical transactional systems.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Event-driven architectures and technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with AI/ML or integrating AI services into production applications.
• Experience working within large enterprise transformation or digital programmes.
