Job Description

Role: Senior Front-End Developer

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:

• To write front-end code to deliver innovative digital products
• To contribute across the technology stack, covering the end-to-end development of web and native applications

Key Accountabilities:

• Use Agile practices and various software development technologies to develop solutions that enhance the organization's technology stack
• Write scalable code with server API tests
• Collaborate with team members to implement user stories, write tests, and deliver improved product functionality
• Understand when mobile web apps are suitable versus native applications
• Coordinate with internal IT teams to resolve technical dependencies
• Build the client's brand in the technology community

Technical Skills / Knowledge:

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular2/4, React, Ember.js)
• Experience with styling frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation, Semantic UI) and preprocessors like SASS, Less
• Knowledge of consuming RESTful APIs, SSO/OAuth, LDAP, and Search Technologies
• Understanding of design principles and delivering user-friendly interfaces
• Knowledge of Agile software development practices

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular2/4, React, Ember.js)
• Experience writing automated tests (unit and functional)
• Familiarity with modern source control and branching methodologies
• Relevant technology diploma or degree
