Job summary

Bateel International in the UAE seeks a seasoned FP&A leader to own budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial statements for the UAE entity. You will partner with the Chief Accountant and divisional heads to transform the FP&A process and deliver timely, accurate management reporting.

Qualifications

Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, commercial finance or business finance.
Experience in a managerial or team leadership role.
Big 4 background with strong audit and financial reporting grounding.
F&B industry experience preferred, ideally with retail and multi-outlet operations.
Experience with statutory and internal audits and end-to-end close.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end FP&A process for UAE, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
Own FP&A calendar and publish timetables for budget, rolling forecasts, and month-end close.
Lead annual budgeting across Retail, Cafés and support functions and present to management.
Prepare rolling forecasts with full P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
Drive monthly close with accruals, provisions and cut-off ensuring quality and timeliness.
Review packs for Group Consolidation and Corporate with accuracy and commentary.
Lead monthly management reviews with CFO/CEO and divisional heads; track actions to closure.
Perform variance analysis; identify root causes and agree corrective actions.
