Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) seeks an experienced Fire Safety Leader to guide the Group's fire and emergency preparedness strategy. You will ensure adequate equipment, trained personnel, and ALARP-aligned practices across all ADNOC Group companies.

The role requires a Bachelor in Fire Technology or engineering, membership of a professional body, and at least 8 years in oil and gas fire safety at senior officer level. You will conduct audits, define standards, and mentor UAE nationals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Fire Technology or engineering with professional accreditation.
• Member of a professional accreditated body and graduate member of the Institute of Fire Engineers.
• 8 years of experience in firefighting, preferably in oil and gas, at a senior fire officer level.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of ADNOC Codes of Practice on fire and emergency preparedness.
• Oversee implementation across ADNOC Group and audit compliance.
• Audit firefighting systems; assess maintenance and reliability.
• Provide leadership on capability assessments and gap analysis.
• Coordinate training and competency development across UAE Nationals.
